Where is it escaping?
Note whether it happens while showering, afterwards or even when the shower is unused. Plumbing, screen seals and waterproofing need different investigations.

Water outside the shower. A damp ceiling below. Tiles that have started to move. Different symptoms can need very different repairs.
Start with what you have noticed. The next step is to establish what needs attention before choosing new finishes.

A repair should match the cause. These are the questions that help separate routine maintenance from a bathroom rebuild.

Explore shower leaksA surface patch may leave concealed damage untouched. At Calamvale, removal exposed water-damaged particleboard and the repair extended to the floor beneath the tiles.
See what was uncoveredWorn joints may need maintenance. New grout or silicone cannot establish that a concealed membrane is sound or replace a failed waterproofing system.
Understand the waterproofing scopeFour stages to discuss for your bathroom. These photographs follow our Calamvale rental-property renovation, where opening up revealed water-damaged flooring.

A damp ceiling or loose tile is a starting point, not a diagnosis. The assessment needs to distinguish plumbing, shower seals and concealed waterproofing. Opening up may be needed to establish the extent of damage.

A damaged base needs attention before new finishes go on. Surface preparation, junctions, penetrations and the waterproofing system all belong in the repair scope. Product requirements determine preparation and curing time.

Tiling and fittings follow the preparation work. Drainage, shower containment and the junctions between finishes need attention alongside how the room looks. Plumbing and electrical work need the appropriate licensed trades.

Review the completed work against the agreed scope. Confirm care instructions, any applicable certificates and warranty information, and who to contact if a concern appears after handover.
Tell us the property suburb and when the problem occurs. For a tenanted property, add access arrangements and your agency details so the next steps can be discussed.
Describe your projectA written description helps explain a concern; it does not replace an on-site assessment.
